Austin Butler’s New Gangster Thriller With Zoë Kravitz Is Struggling at the Box Office Despite Impressive RT Score

Director Darren Aronofsky's Caught Stealing is just 10 days into its theatrical run, but it's already clear that the movie won't come close to recovering its reported budget at the stateside box office. International markets might come to its rescue, but it would still be difficult to classify Caught Stealing as a hit. It was released at the tail-end of the summer box office season, neither here nor there. The movie hasn't even grossed $15 million in its domestic run so far, despite the presence of newly-minted movie star Austin Butler.
