Anya Taylor-Joy kicked off 2025 by starring opposite Miles Teller in The Gorge, but now she’s back with a new thriller in the form of Sacrifice. Taylor-Joy stars alongside Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Salma Hayek (Eternals) in Sacrifice, the action comedy set in a fundraising gala full of societal elites that is broken into by activists searching for a relic they believe unlocks supernatural powers. Sacrifice recently had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, and now that 15 reviews for the film have come in, it’s been given a poor 27% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
