Antony Starr recreated the funny Homelander memes during his latest interview, where he came to promote and talk about The Boys Season 5. Before commencing the interesting game, Starr admitted that his career has now become all about memes. He also encouraged fans to create more such memes, as he revealed that he’s enjoying them thoroughly.

In an appearance on TODAY, the interviewer asked Starr to play a little game, where his hilarious Homelander moments would be showcased on the screen. He was only required to recreate those memes in real-time. Before the game started, Starr shared how memes have become a center of his professional life. “Memes are what I’m in it for. My career is now about memes,” he added.

He had a hearty laugh while reenacting some of the most famous moments from the show. When the Homelander blowing meme from The Boys showed up, the interviewer asked him to recreate the meme with sound effects, noting that it feels off otherwise.

Pointing out that particular meme, he commented, “That’s cruel.” Enjoying all the funny memes, the actor encouraged fans to keep making more such content, adding, “The worse the better.” Further, he explained that he’s liking all the memes, revealing that the sillier he looks, the happier he is.

Earlier, during the Season 5 premiere of The Boys, Starr was also stopped by to rank several Homelander memes on a scale of 1 to 6. Interestingly, he didn’t place any of the memes of the initial two positions, but ranked the “disgusted face” look and the memorable emotional scene in 4th position.

He then went on to rank some other hilarious moments, too. Before leaving, he reassured fans that they would get additional meme content in the final season. “The Boys S5 is gonna give you guys so many … it’s gonna be a memefest,” he had said.
