My oldest brother who introduced me to Free Republic online back in 1997 while I was nursing my 3rd baby in the middle of the night ( I guess I was complaining about the isolation of the 3AM feeding) has died after a long struggle with Alzheimers. In his senior year of St. Mary's high school in Manhasset NY he was accepted to West Point, Annapolis and the AirForce Academy but chose Notre Dame.
