With heated showdowns and plans set in motion, Coronation Street delivers the drama once again next week and you needn’t wait until then to find out what’s in store as we’ve got a sneak peek of the action.

Three fresh new spoiler clips from upcoming scenes detail what the cobbles has to offer next week, with courtroom drama, a trip to the hospital and a revenge plot on the cards.

Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) is in court for his custody hearing and newcomer Noah is on hand to make sure it doesn’t go swimmingly, much to the upset of Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce).

Elsewhere, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) has a plan to get revenge on Naomi, who abused Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) a few weeks ago – and chaos will ensue.

Meanwhile, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) nervously visits the hospital for an update on his health following his cancer battle. Wife Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) is by his side and gives him the assurances he needs ahead of receiving news from the doctor, but it’s very clear that not all is well in their relationship.

Abi, as viewers know, is secretly having an affair with Kev’s brother Carl (Jonathan Howard) – and given that this is Corrie we’re talking about, it’s only a matter of time before the truth explodes.

Monday September 22

At his custody hearing, Theo is agitated and flustered as he answers questions. Todd, meanwhile, is left infuriated by Noah, who drips poison in his ear in a bid to get a reaction out of him.

It works.

Todd fumes at Noah and due to his outburst he is removed from the courtroom, much to the delight of Noah and the horror of Theo.

Wednesday September 24

At the hospital, Kevin waits for an appointment and he begins to worry that his cancer is back. Abi offers support. The doctor confirms that he’s cancer free, much to the delight of Kev, who starts to talk about the future he’s going to have with Abi.

Abi, however, doesn’t echo his joy, leaving Kev devastated. In subsequent scenes, Abi decides to confront Kevin about their relationship – and let’s just say that it’s not looking too good!

Friday September 26

Bernie arrives at the hotel in search of Naomi, who is hosting a careers talk on site. Ryan doesn’t know where she is but Bernie’s interest is piqued when she spots Naomi’s laptop – and it’s clear that she has a trick up her sleeve as part of her plan to get revenge on behalf of Asha.

Asha, as viewers will recall, was subjected to horrific racial abuse and violence from Naomi – a woman she was trying to help during a special episode that was focused on her work as a paramedic.
