Months before its premiere on the Paramount+ service, what appeared to be more than three minutes of footage from the upcoming “Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender” movie appears to have leaked online.

A Twitter user is claiming Nickelodeon “accidentally” emailed them the full film, posting what appeared to be multiple scenes from the project according to IGN.

The leaker reportedly then said, “If Paramount doesn’t post a trailer within the next couple [of] days or something, I’ll livestream the movie alongside some Peggle Deluxe gameplay.”

The scenes are said to be not final (unfinished) and apparently include older versions of characters like Aang, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, and Toph. Fans are already dissecting scenes, especially a line by Zuko. If real, it would be one of the biggest pre-release film leaks in years.

The original post apparently garnered more than 100,000 likes but has since been taken down with the message “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner” now on there.

“Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender” was originally slated for a theatrical release last year and is currently slated to premiere on Paramount+ on October 9th. Paramount has not released any official stills or trailers from the film as yet though shots did emerge a while back through tie-in Target merchandise.

Those trying to avoid spoilers are advised to be careful using social media for the next few days. Paramount has not yet commented on the leak, but many on social media are expressing sympathy for the animators and those who’ve worked on the film.
