The recent success of Christopher Nolan’s new epic, The Odyssey, reminded audiences of his long-held fascination with the concept of time and the guilt of being away from family — two themes that he has returned to frequently in his films. Fans were also directed to some of Nolan’s early experimental short film work, which is more surreal than his methodical features. Nolan recently spoke about his admiration for the master of surreal cinema, David Lynch, and how Lynch’s movies influenced his work. Nolan has dealt with dream logic in several of his films, most notably Mementoand Inception. Now, Lynch’s masterpiece is heading to Prime Video just in time for fans who adored The Odyssey.
