With the release of The Conjuring: Last Rites, The Conjuring Universe has finally come to an end (at least for now). The series, all loosely based on real-life supernatural incidents and the careers of Ed & Lorraine Warren, is the most financially successful horror franchise in history, with a total worldwide gross of over $1 billion.
