Everyone can agree that the sci-fi genre hasalways been unpredictable. It thrives on big ideas and expansive worlds. All that ambition comes at a price, though, because all of these concepts are only as strong as their execution. When a sci-fi story fails, it's almost always because the scale overwhelms the storytelling. However, sometimes, the exact opposite happens.
