5 charged after Davenport grocery store parking lot fight with gunfire, 110 mph chase

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Five people face charges after a "riot" in a Davenport grocery store parking lot that involved at least 14 people and included gunfire and a 110 mph vehicle chase, according to arrest records. The complaints state Davenport police were dispatched around 1:07 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, to Hilltop Groceries & Spirits at 1312 Harrison St., for a reported disturbance.
