2026 nominees announced for Masterton Trophy

The NHL has announced the 2026 nominees for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.

The award is given to the player who has exemplified perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication throughout the season. One player on each team is nominated by members of their local chapter.

Three finalists will be announced before the winner is decided by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association.

Last year’s winner was Sean Monahan of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
