Regardless of how you prefer your Russell Crowe — understated or mugging everyone in sight — it's going to be an unfortunate April if you're subscribed to Netflix's ad-supported tier. Two of Crowe's most recent movies have been blocked on the streamer's ad-supported tier this month, according to What's On Netflix. The first is Nuremberg, the World War II-set courtroom drama in which Crowe played Nazi war criminal Hermann Göring opposite fellow Oscar winner Rami Malek, who played an American psychiatrist. The other is a superhero movie that effectively ended a franchise on the most embarrassing of terms. The superhero movie was released theatrically in 2024 after significant delays. It was directed by an Oscar nominee and featured another Oscar winner in the cast alongside Crowe.
