Growing up, my mother always advised me against watching horror films, and I remember the first time I snuck into the living room after midnight to watch one. Everyone was asleep, and I sat way too close to the TV with the volume turned low. The monsters or ghosts never scared me, but I loved the eerie feeling that you get afterwards, likesomething might still be there, and that’s why I kept watching supernatural thrillers.
