One of the most important elements of any show is world-building, but that's particularly true about science fiction TV shows. After all, what good are these stories of space exploration, hyper-advanced technologies, and fascinating dystopian futures if the world they take place in—whether that's a speculative version of Earth or a different planet altogether—isn't absolutely engrossing?
