Growing up, action movies were the genre nobody in my house took seriously. Even I did not. My mom called them noise movies, and honestly, it used to be just that. A lot of explosions, car chases, some guy walking away from a fire without looking back. Just loud movies, some with good action sequences, some with fake CGI stunts.
