Before 2023, everyone dreaded the eventual live-action adaptation of anime series, with previous series such as Cowboy Bebop and Death Note being victims of horrendous versions. However, One Piece, the one anime everyone thought would turn out poorly, is hands down the best anime adaptation, with the One Piece live-action version even improving on some aspects of the source material.
