Hollywood spends a significant amount of time trying to anticipate what films will be successful, as it takes a few gigantic hits in order to justify years of spending. Even if a conglomerate like the Walt Disney Corporation suffered a few major misfires last year, the gigantic successes of Zootopia 2 and Avatar: Fire and Ash managed to make up for some of the box office disasters. However, there are some films that were never going to work, making it hard to feel sympathetic for anyone involved.
