Even if you don’t live in the U.S., you’ve probably heard of the R-rating, which is given to movies that are intended to be for adult audiences… at least most of the time. To see an R-rated movie without supervision, you're supposed to be at least 17 years old, which is distinguished from the rating below R, which is PG-13, where it’s recommended that viewers are at least 13 years old.
